There was a chaplain in Hqs 108th Artillery Group. His name was Neilly, or Neely, or Nielly, or Neally. Think his first name was
Bill,or maybe Jim. He was a major. I think he was Presbyterian. If anyone knows where he is or how he spelled his last name
please let myself or Mark Swearengen know. Thanks C Kelley

I am interested in the physical layout of Hill 65, particularly in the location of the gun positions relative to the middle of the hill. When I was there in 1971, the tower was located near the southwest end and co-located with the messhall and the water treatment plant. In an early aerial photo, (available for anyone interested), the tower is more north central, very near the perimeter. Charles Stephenson, cstephenson@mail.utexas.edu

This is dedicated to 2 of my brothers from "A" Btry who I miss dearly and think about every day. They left us on April 29 1970 from a hell hole named Barbara. This is to Willie Austin Jr. and Paul Kosanke.....AS I sit here today I think about a place very far away...I often wonder if what we did was right??? I also think about a terrible Night. They died for no rhyme or reason. They would never live to see another season....I often wonder if what we did was right.... I also think a terrible night.......A Time Long Ago.... Peace and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my brothers in 2 94 arty.

Is there a 2/94 chat room set up, I was just in Rlee Ermey's chat room nothing but bs and kids. just figured all of us bros could chat about things from time to time, if there is a chat line let me know at- bcowan2003@yahoo.com  thanks alot and don't forget to say a prayer for the space shuttle crew.

hello fellow arty bros., I just finished reading an article by Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld and the sad ass comments he made about draftees, being one of those draftees I am taken back by such comments from an arrogant son of a bitch like him and the rest of the war mongers of this administration and now after somebody kicked him in his ass he is going to apologize that is totally unacceptable to me. he would not have said this if he didn't mean it and I am quite fwd up with the approach to things with the regime in washington have't we learned from the past. let's take care of home first and worry about the rest of the world later. i am truly sorry for venting but I am proud to have US on my dogtags, I was honored to serve my country and proud to be in the US Army and let us not forget all our bros(56,000) whose names are on a black marble wall in Washington D.C. I am pretty sure some of them were draftees. Peace and thanx for letting me vent.. Wild Bill Cowan "A" btry. 2/94 arty..   bcowan2003@yahoo.com

hello to all the members of 2nd bn 94th arty. my name is carmelo jimenez and i am an original member that was assigned to c battery. i still remember shipping out of oakland california on the uss eltinge. while stationed at camp carroll, we came under attack on the 9th of april 1967. the attack was heavy and alot of us were wounded early that morning. i, myself, had recieved multiple shrapnel wounds and was transported to the naval hospital in da nang. there they put me back together( my scars across my chest and back are constant reminders of my time there.) i eventually returned to ft. sill and was discharged on the 2nd of dec. 1967 at the rank of spec. e-4. its been along time but i am still proud of my purple heart. if any of the original members out there read this and remember that day feel free to email me, mailto:meloman46@sbcglobal.net
